Today is our favorite day of the week, Twilight Tuesday!
For today's edition of the MTV segment, there is an interview of Michael Welch, who will be the face of Mike Newton. Mike/Mike's interview was beyond hillarious and is bringing some spark back to TT.

Vanity Fair's August edition will include an article titled, "Bright Young Hollywood," which includes Kristen Stewart! She appears on the cover with three other young ladies and in another shot. Christian: Jane or Emily. Jane has the fun power. She seems to truly get away with murder. Emily seems like the character with the juiciest background. It would be great fun to play that out.

Christian: She was fantastic. She is a great writer. Anything she writes I now have this need to be the first one in and get it. I wanted to tell her a mess of things about how exciting this was for me and how great I thought she was and well I think I just said "hi" or something like that. I'm not sure. This week however we are introduced to what I believe to be the more iconic vehicle in the series, Bella's 53' Chevy Truck! This summer (or winter...) Peter Facinelli has been trying to get to 10,000 friends on myspace, and is asking everyone to post bullitins, put his banner up on myspaces and websites etc. Now in a new blog post, there are details about a contest in an attempt for Dr Cullen to gain more friends. Pennisula Daily News has an article on Twilight Tours in Forks, WA. The Forks chamber of commerce are now holding tours. See move about it here.

"RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED for the Forks Chamber of Commerce Twilight Tours.

Space are available on the July 12 and July 26 tours — and the chamber may schedule more.

Each tour leaves at 9 a.m. from the Forks Visitor Center at 1411 S. Forks Ave.

The cost per person is based on the number of passengers.

Barnes & Noble has done a video interview with Stephenie Meyer regarding Breaking Dawn, but she "can't say much." But the postives are it's the longest, she's happy with the ending, it has a sense of closer and she's working on Midnight Sun. She shares with us the themes for her novels, also disclosing Breaking Dawns theme as Midnight Summer's Dream and another book she can't say.

MTV has announced Stephenie's tour updates for this edition of Twilight Tuesday. She announced that her tour will be with Blue October singer/song writer Justin Furstenfeld. See the interview with him here.

To celebrate the release of "Breaking Dawn," author Stephenie Meyer will attend four story-and-song-fueled special events, accompanied by Blue October singer/songwriter Justin Furstenfeld. Insisting the mini-tour idea is "cooler than anything I could have imagined," Meyer has made plans for the following dates:

· 8/1 - New York City @ Nokia Theater at Times Square
· 8/5 - Chicago @ Harris Theater
· 8/7 - Los Angeles @ Royce Hall
· 8/12 - Seattle @ Benaroya Hall

Tickets for the "Breaking Dawn" concert series are $20 each and go on sale June 21 at 10 a.m. ET; information on where to buy them will be posted soon on StephenieMeyer.com and on TheTwilightSaga.com. After the concerts, fans can get autographs from Meyer. Greetings from Twilight has posted a blog about the San Diego Comic-Con. Here's what they had to say:

"The cast of TWILIGHT will be appearing live at the 2008 Comic-Con in San Diego held in July. Scheduled to attend are director Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward), Cam Gigandet (James), Rachelle LaFevre (Victoria), Edi Gathegi (Laurant), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) and Stephenie Meyer!* This incredibly talented group will be participating in a panel discussion, autograph signings, and more!  TWILIGHT surprises will also be at the Summit Entertainment booth (#4413) throughout the weekend.

The Summit Entertainment Comic-Com panel discussion will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2008 in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center. Time of the panel is still TDB, but if you're planning on going to Comic-Con this year, make sure you get tickets for Thursday.  There are no 4 day tickets left, so buy single day tickets for the days you want to be there. Smoothest event: Denver (So is the superpower of the Denver-ites super-efficiency? Or is it super-politeness? Or do they have some kind of control over the space-time continuum? More research is required.)

Most familiar faces + most movie stars in attendance: Portland

Most boy fans: Los Angeles (37—and we only counted actually readers this time, though there were many supportive dads, brothers, uncles, husbands, and boyfriends in attendance.)

Loudest: definitely San Diego. (They also came in very close in the boy-fan and the familiar faces categories. It was a good place to wrap up my last big tour.)
